Similark is operated by Thump LLC (“we”). This notice covers the preview website while the product is in development.

What we collect

• Your email address when you ask for a free report or join the list, whether you reserved the founding price, and any campaign tags in the link you used (such as utm_source).
• The mark and class you ask us to check, so we can prepare and email your report.
• A cookie that counts record lookups from your browser, if you use the record lookup. It contains no personal information.

The sample register on the home page runs in your browser. The mark you type there is not sent to us unless you submit the form.

Record lookups

If you look up a serial or registration number, we pass that number to the USPTO's Trademark Status and Document Retrieval service to fetch the public record. Trademark records are public.

How we use it

To send the report you asked for, to tell you when Similark opens, to honour a founding-price reservation, and to decide whether to build the product. We don't sell or rent your information or use it for advertising.

Storage and processors

The site is hosted on Vercel and data is stored in a Neon (PostgreSQL) database in the United States.
